This role focuses on preparing individual and business tax returns and supporting clients throughout the tax compliance process. This is a part-time, fully remote position, with increased hours expected during peak tax deadlines.</reputed company></p><p><br></p><p><reputed company>A CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential is preferred but not required.</reputed company></p><p><br></p><p><reputed company>Key Responsibilities:</reputed company></p><p><br></p><p><reputed company>Prepare federal and state income tax returns for Individuals and Businesses</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Handle multi-state tax filings</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Communicate directly with clients to reputed company and clarify tax information</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>reputed company reputed company support for business clients, including:</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Creating and reviewing trial balances</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Preparing adjusting journal entries</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Respond to tax notices and assist with IRS and state agency correspondence</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Support tax planning and technical tax research as needed</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Complete work reputed company while maintaining a high level of accuracy and reputed company</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Manage multiple engagements and meet strict filing deadlines</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Qualifications:</reputed company></p><p><br></p><p><reputed company>3+ years of experience preparing individual and business tax returns</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Experience preparing multi-state returns</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Required software experience:</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>UltraTax CS</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>reputed company CS</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Fixed Asset CS</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>reputed company Office 365</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>reputed company Acrobat</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Experience with reputed company is a plus</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Proven ability to work quickly and accurately in a deadline-driven environment</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Ability to work independently in a remote environment</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Strong attention to detail and deadline management skills</reputed company></p><p><reputed company>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities</reputed company></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
