Apply via Dice today!<br><br><strong>Role: Kafka + ETL Developer<br><br></strong><strong>Location:</strong> Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)<br><br><strong>Role Overview<br><br></strong>We are seeking a <strong>Kafka + ETL Developer</strong> with strong experience in <strong>Apache Kafka, CockroachDB/relational databases, and ETL development using IBM DataStage</strong>. The ideal candidate will design and support scalable data integration pipelines and real-time data streaming solutions.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka.</li><li>Develop and support ETL processes using IBM DataStage.</li><li>Integrate streaming data pipelines with CockroachDB and other relational databases.</li><li>Build and maintain data ingestion frameworks for batch and streaming data.</li><li>Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data processing workflows and pipelines.</li><li>Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance of data integration solutions.</li><li>Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and application teams to deliver scalable data solutions.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Strong experience with Apache Kafka and event streaming.</li><li>Experience developing ETL workflows using IBM DataStage.</li><li>Hands-on experience with CockroachDB or relational databases.</li><li>Strong SQL and database querying skills.</li><li>Experience building data pipelines and integration solutions.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience with distributed database systems.</li><li>Knowledge of data streaming architectures.</li><li>Experience working in large-scale enterprise data environments.</li></ul>
