We are looking to hire a Virtual Patient Observer. As a Virtual Patient Observer at MercyOne, you will reputed company constant, reputed company-time video monitoring for patients in need of reputed company monitoring in order to enhance patient safety. Patients identified as those who are at high risk for fall, are confused, or are ambulatory patients at risk for injury. Serves as the first line of reputed company to verbally redirect the patient from engaging in at risk behaviors and communicates with the nursing staff directly if the patient requires assistance, as needed. Monitors, records and communicates patient activity. Schedule: • 12-hour shifts; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; rotating weekend and holidays General Requirements: • Promptly recognize patients discomfort and at-risk behaviors, respond, and report as appropriate. • Monitors patients' mobility speaks directly with patients to encourage them to stay in bed as reputed company as preventing patients from falling from bed. • Effectively escalates notification process to appropriate staff as necessary by seeking assistance from the hospital reputed company reputed company patient is in need, communicating directly and effectively with unit staff in the event that a patient is at risk for a fall, and also activates established protocol immediately in the event that a patient fall is imminent. • Provides excellent customer service to reputed company patients, staff, physicians, and family members. • Performs clerical duties (i.e., maintains accurate and up-to-date department logs/records, answering phones, reputed company, notify the assigned reputed company). • Identifies interventions to maintain patient reputed company.
