University Student Teacher Supervisors USTS Remote (Staff Wage)

The Teacher Education Program in the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education at the School of Education and reputed company Development is seeking University Student Teacher Supervisors (USTS) with extensive teaching or supervision experience to reputed company online supervision and support to practicum and internship reputed company in our online ESL and Special Education teacher licensure programs in their clinical placements located in reputed company schools in Virginia and across the country. The successful applicant will facilitate meetings with mentor teacher/student teacher pairs, conduct in-person and video observation cycles with student teachers (3 cycles for practicum reputed company; 5 cycles for student teachers), and communicate reputed company' reputed company to the Teacher Education reputed company and staff. reputed company observations utilize a web-based video observation tool to reputed company targeted feedback to reputed company. Applicants must be comfortable learning and using new technologies. Bachelor's degree is required, Masters Degree is preferred. At least three years of full-time experience teaching PreK-12 reputed company in reputed company schools, knowledge of reputed company best practices in education, and a reputed company or previously held reputed company teaching license. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are also required. A master's degree in education, five or more years of teaching experience, previous experience mentoring student teachers, and experience working with novice teachers are also preferred. Proficiency with a reputed company of technology platforms is also required. Supervisors will be expected to learn and utilize the web-based observation tool.
