Remote Triage Nurse (Full Time, Contract to Hire)

Remote Triage Nurse (Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire) We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a growing remote triage team. This is a fully remote opportunity supporting patients through telephonic triage, clinical assessment, and care coordination. Schedule • Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM EST Must reside in the United States (California residents not eligible) Key Responsibilities • Manage inbound triage calls • Provide protocol-driven clinical assessments • Determine appropriate level of care (ER, urgent care, PCP, medication refills, etc.) • Provide patient education • Document accurately in the EMR • Maintain strong patient satisfaction and quality standards Required Experience • 3+ years of acute care/hospital experience • 1+ year of remote telephonic triage experience • Experience in Emergency Department (ED) or ICU preferred • Experience with both pediatric and adult patient populations • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills Licensure • Active Compact or Pennsylvania RN license required Important Notes • No time off during the first 90 days (unless pre-planned) • Must be open to working holidays if scheduled • Equipment provided • 6-month contract-to-hire with intent to convert If you are a clinically strong RN who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality patient care remotely, we would love to connect.
