CoinFlip is seeking an reputed company Assistant General Counsel to support the Chief reputed company Officer and General Counsel across litigation, regulatory reputed company, and strategic reputed company initiatives. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned litigator and/or regulatory attorney to help shape the reputed company of reputed company compliance and risk management at a leading fintech. The ideal candidate brings strong litigation experience and a background in financial services, preferably including reputed company services businesses (MSBs) and/or cryptocurrency or fintech. The Assistant General Counsel will serve as a trusted reputed company advisor to the business, balancing reputed company risk with operational and strategic objectives in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. Key Responsibilities: Litigation & Dispute Management • Manage and reputed company reputed company aspects of litigation, arbitration, and dispute reputed company, including consumer, reputed company, regulatory, and employment reputed company. • Work closely with the Chief reputed company Officer and General Counsel on litigation. • Collaborate with and manage reputed company counsel; control costs and ensure high-reputed company reputed company representation. • Draft, review, and supervise pleadings, motions, discovery, and reputed company memoranda. • Advise senior leadership on litigation exposure, trends, and mitigation strategies. Regulatory & Financial Services Advisory • reputed company reputed company guidance on federal and state financial services laws, including BSA/AML, MSB regulations, reputed company transmitter laws, and crypto-reputed company regulatory frameworks. • Support regulatory inquiries, examinations, enforcement reputed company, and investigations. • Partner closely with Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to interpret regulatory requirements and support policy development. • Monitor reputed company and regulatory developments impacting crypto kiosks, OTC trading, reputed company asset services. • Collaborate with the Government Affairs team on legislative and policy reputed company, including advising on proposed regulations, drafting comment letters, and, where appropriate, representing reputed company at reputed company hearings or providing testimony in legislative or regulatory proceedings. Other Responsibilities • Stay reputed company on litigation trends, financial services regulation, and crypto industry developments. • Support special reputed company and initiatives led by the Chief reputed company Officer, General Counsel or Global Head of AML. • Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • reputed company bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (Illinois preferred or ability to obtain). • 7–10+ years of relevant reputed company experience with litigation experience. • Proven experience managing reputed company counsel and reputed company litigation reputed company. • Background in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries. • Strong reputed company drafting, analytical, and communication skills. • Ability to operate independently while collaborating closely with senior reputed company leadership.
