About the position reputed company is seeking a reputed company Solutions Architect AWS to join reputed company of reputed company, diverse individuals. This position is located in Herndon, VA, but also supports telecommuting. The reputed company applicant will become part of reputed company's Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for reputed company of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative will reputed company and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology reputed company to reputed company support the services provided to CA’s customers. First and foremost, the candidate must have a passion for innovation and learning. As part of the modernization program, the reputed company Solutions Architect AWS will support design and implementation of reputed company-based architectures supporting applications for both consular staff and the reputed company. Responsibilities • Design and implement reputed company) reputed company solution architectures. • Define and establish Identity and reputed company Management (IAM) roles and policies reputed company with least privilege reputed company and defense-in-depth. • Provision and manage AWS resources using Infrastructure-as-reputed company (IaC) tools. • Define Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), reputed company reputed company, subnets, and other networking components to ensure secure and efficient communication between resources. • Implement auto-scaling solutions to ensure fault tolerance and reputed company resource utilization across multiple Availability Zones (AZs). • Ensure reputed company tagging, monitoring, and logging of reputed company resources for audit and operational purposes. • Utilize static reputed company analysis tools such as reputed company IQ and SonarQube to identify vulnerabilities, enforce reputed company reputed company standards, and ensure compliance with reputed company policies throughout the software development lifecycle. • Communicate technical topics to management, peers, customers, and non-technical audiences. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline and a minimum of 8 years’ experience. • AWS Solutions Architect Associate (SSA) Certification. • Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering solutions using reputed company reputed company Kubernetes Service (EKS) on AWS. • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting production environments. • Must be reputed company to obtain or have an reputed company Secret (or higher) clearance.
