PDF Designer / Formatter (Meal Plans, Ebooks - Clean, Modern, Easy to Read)

We are a fast-growing U.S.-based health & weight loss brand looking for a PDF designer / formatter to create clean, modern, and easy-to-read documents. Most of the work will include: Meal plan PDFs Recipe guides Occasional ebooks This role is focused on clarity, structure, and readability — not heavy or overly artistic design. What You’ll Do: Design and format: Meal plans Recipe PDFs Ebooks Take raw content (text, images) and turn it into: Clean, organized, professional PDFs Ensure documents are: Easy to follow Visually appealing Consistent in layout ⚡ Important: Designs should be modern, clean, and minimal Content must be easy to read and understand (our audience is women 35+) Avoid overdesigning or clutter File sizes should be optimized (not heavy PDFs) You Are a Good Fit If You: Have experience designing PDFs, ebooks, or guides Understand layout, spacing, and readability Can organize content in a way that feels simple and intuitive Pay attention to details (alignment, spacing, consistency) Can deliver clean, polished work quickly Not a Fit If: You focus heavily on artistic or complex designs Your work looks cluttered or hard to read You create very large / unoptimized PDF files You need constant direction for layout decisions Tools: Canva, InDesign, or similar tools are OK Must be able to export optimized, lightweight PDFs To Apply: Please include: 2–3 PDF / ebook samples you’ve designed What do you think makes a PDF easy to read and user-friendly?
