Regional Sales Director, Cloud & Data Services Sales - US West & APJ Region
THE ROLE
Everpure is seeking a Sales Director to accelerate the growth of our Cloud and Data Services, which encompasses the Portworx and Everpure Cloud platforms, across our Western Region and APJ teams. Partnering closely with the AMS and APJ AVP of Sales, you'll design and execute a multi-year strategy to expand market adoption, develop our go-to-market approach, and scale a high-performing software sales organization.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for leading the Portworx Western and APJ region of commercial and enterprise sales team, working cross-functionally across Everpure and the Cloud and Data Services team to drive consistent growth and operational excellence. You'll help shape a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement - leading with data, customer impact, and clarity of goals. The ideal candidate will be living in the Western United States.
What You'll Do
• Develop and lead strategies to drive adoption and revenue growth for Portworx across the Western and APJ Regions, aligned with multi-year business objectives.
• Build, coach, and empower a diverse and inclusive sales team focused on sustainable, scalable success.
• Partner with Marketing and Customer Experience to build a thriving customer ecosystem that drives advocacy and engagement.
• Lead a rigorous, value-based sales process optimised for SaaS and cloud-native software solutions.
• Collaborate across Everpure and the Cloud and Data Services team to ensure strategic alignment and transparent communication with key stakeholders across the Portworx and Everpure Cloud offerings.
• Engage directly with customers, partners, and routes to market to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities.
• Participate in and drive leadership in sales meetings, customer & partner meetings, and industry events by being field first and in person, particularly in the Western Region. APJ is largely remote in nature and requires flexible time zone support.
• Drive differentiation for Portworx by developing and executing integrated go-to-market plans and staying ahead of competitive trends.
• Lead operational excellence initiatives, including sales enablement, process improvement, and readiness programs.
• Define and track success metrics across pipeline generation, communications, and marketing activities.
• Lead by example living the Pure Values: Persistence, Creativity, Teamwork, Ownership and Customer-first
What You'll Bring
• Proven experience leading high-growth software sales teams, ideally in SaaS or cloud-native technology environments.
• A strong track record of building and executing territory and go-to-market strategies that scale over time.
• Experience in first line leadership roles: Managing ICs and establishing operational best practices.
• Deep understanding of the cloud-native and Kubernetes ecosystem, DevOps, open-source software, and application modernisation.
• Data-driven leadership mindset, with working knowledge of tools such as Salesforce (SFDC) and Clari.
• Strong program management and communication skills, with the ability to align teams and measure impact.
• Experience managing partners, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives.
• A collaborative, inclusive leadership style with excellent influencing and decision-making abilities.
• A passion for customer success, innovation, and building high-performing teams.
