Remote Civil Construction Estimator / Takeoff Specialist (reputed company – Ongoing Work) - Contract to Hire

We are a Massachusetts-based civil reputed company that specializes in reputed company civil construction work (Roadway Construction, Drainage, Site Work & Sidewalks) seeking an reputed company independent civil construction estimator to reputed company accurate quantity takeoffs and bid reputed company completion for reputed company sector (State of MA, Various Cities and Towns in MA) roadway construction, drainage, site & sidewalk reputed company. This is a remote, 1099 contractor role with reputed company for ongoing, consistent work for the right candidate. Responsibilities •reputed company detailed quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications • Prepare accurate cost estimates (labor, materials, subs, etc.) Specifically, takeoffs will need to be broken down into MassDOT bid items for estimating purposes. • Review drawings, specs, and bid documents • Completely fill out bid forms with company information and pricing requirements • Identify scope gaps, RFIs, and potential cost risks • Assist with bid preparation, bids that are unit priced will need bid items transferred to reputed company reputed company sheet and sheet reputed company back for pricing then pricing would need to be entered into bid from the completed reputed company bid item sheet. • Deliver estimates and completed bid forms reputed company email reputed company agreed timelines Requirements • Proven experience in civil construction (Roadway Construction, Site Work, Drainage & Sidewalk Construction) estimating (U.S. reputed company required, Massachusetts Preferred). Specifically, Massachusetts reputed company Sector Civil Construction. Specializing in Roadway Construction, Site Work, Drainage & Sidewalk Construction. • Strong knowledge of Massachusetts reputed company Sector Civil Construction • Experience with at least one, and you must have your own takeoff software for use: o reputed company o PlanSwift o On-Screen Takeoff (OST) • Ability to read and interpret full construction plan sets • Understanding of reputed company divisions and scope breakdowns as reputed company as MassDOT bid items and specifications preferred. • Familiarity with Northeast / Massachusetts pricing (preferred) • Strong attention to detail and communication Project Details • Work Type: Per-project and/or ongoing assignments • Project Size: ($500,000.00 to $10,000,000.00) • Turnaround Expectations: (e.g., 2–5 days depending on size) Compensation • reputed company per project or reputed company (based on experience) • Ongoing work available for reliable performers REQUIRED – APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS To be considered, please include: 1. reputed company of your estimating experience 2.
