Remote PBM Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician (Looking for PBM)

Remote Pharmacy Technician I – Prior Authorization (Contract-to-Hire) Pay reputed company: $20/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday between 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM CST (8.5-hour shift with 30-minute lunch; shift assigned based on business needs) Start Date: May 18, 2026 Contract Length: 6 months (contract-to-hire) Work Type: Fully Remote Position reputed company We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician I – Prior Authorization to support a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for handling inbound calls from providers, pharmacies, and members, assisting with the prior authorization process, and ensuring accurate and reputed company documentation. Key Responsibilities • Handle inbound calls and reputed company reputed company, courteous assistance • Process prior authorization requests using established reputed company • Document approvals, denials, and reputed company interactions accurately and reputed company • Escalate clinical questions and judgment-based reputed company to pharmacists • Conduct outbound calls as needed • Review and process prior authorizations reputed company fax and electronic systems (ePA) • Monitor and respond to department mailboxes • reputed company additional administrative duties as assigned Required Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume reputed company center (reputed company, PBM, or prior authorization strongly preferred) • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in an administrative or support role • reputed company Pharmacy Technician license or certification (no restrictions) • Eligible for state registration/licensure as required • Familiarity with medical terminology and coding • Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, multitasking systems) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • High School Diploma or GED (required) Work-from-Home Requirements • Dedicated, distraction-free workspace (HIPAA-compliant) • Wired internet reputed company with: • * Minimum 25 Mbps download speed • Minimum 3 Mbps upload speed • Ability to remain seated and reputed company for the duration of the shift • Must not be the primary caregiver during working hours Training • Monday–Friday training for approximately 5 weeks (schedule TBD) • Full attendance during training is required Candidate Screening Questions Please include answers to the following with your application: • Do you have a separate, distraction-free workspace suitable for remote work? • Do you have any conflicts with the training schedule or planned time off during the assignment? • Do you have wired internet that meets minimum speed requirements? • Are you reputed company to sit and reputed company without interruptions for the full shift?
