Associate Account Executive
Dunn&Co. is seeking an Associate Account Executive who is results-driven and has a strong work ethic. The role involves providing administrative and project support to the Account Services team, managing marketing and advertising projects, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Willingness to learn our client’s business on a deep level, including all of their products/services, organizational structure, marketing plan, company culture, competitors, and category
- All project management responsibilities: writing up of job specifications, creating schedules, production follow-through, generating invoices, and working with the traffic manager to manage/assign resources
- Foresees future needs for the project and always arranges appropriate resources ahead of time
- Maintains collaborative working relationships and uses experience, resources, and other departments to find successful solutions
- Proactively anticipates and solves problems
- Attend/participate and lead client conference calls and meetings as needed
- Preparing account service-related documents such as meeting agendas, reports, and other internal/external client communication and correspondence
- Supporting the VP, Client Services with new business as needed
- Minutes/note-taking for all conference calls/meetings
- Securing and reviewing vendor quotes
- Ensure deliverables are provided on time and to the required specifications
- Schedule Client meetings as well as internal team check-ins
- Mastery of all Dunn process & procedures both internal and external with little to no oversight within the first year
- Ownership of key projects from planning to completion that are important to Dunn&Co. and our Clients
- Independent management from beginning to end of smaller projects as identified by the Account Supervisors
- Competitive Market Analysis and strategic thinking
- Proactive thinking of what needs to be done next without being asked; anticipating the needs of the account and providing added-value
Skills
- 1+ year of advertising agency experience preferred or equivalent experience in a relevant marketing, communications, or client-facing environment
- Bachelor's degree in advertising or marketing preferred
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Self-starter with the ability to deliver results without constant supervision
- Works independently and can manage competing priorities
- Maintains composure under stress
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Has an optimistic attitude, is a team player, and is excited to be in the ad business
- Intermediate computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoys interacting with clients
- Familiar with Google Suite, Mac, Microsoft Office Suite, Keynote, meeting software (Zoom, WebEx, etc.), Workamajig, social media platforms, proofreading skills
