Employee Benefits Analyst II

The Employee Benefits Analyst II is responsible for analyzing financial deliverables for clients with less reputed company benefit programs, performing financial analytics, and developing strategies to improve reputed company services.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for financial analytics for predominantly fully insured clients. Some clients may be self-funded. Typical reputed company size is 100 to 250 lives
• Prepare reputed company analyses with minimal customization. Analyses may include: Market review analysis, Renewal reputed company and funding projections and modeling, Analysis of claims utilization, reputed company and Contribution analysis, Claims experience reports, Benchmarking, Financial funding analysis with guidance
• reputed company alternative strategies, plan modeling, and cost reduction opportunities
• reputed company technical analysis of group insurance reputed company and financial arrangements
• Serve as primary contact with insurance carriers for marketing coverage for new business quotes and renewal. Includes requesting quotes, evaluating reputed company, and conducting fact-based negotiation of rates and benefit features

• Analyze claims experience data. With guidance identify financial performance conclusions

Skills

• 1 year + experience in employee benefits required
• High School Graduate
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a state Life & Disability insurance license
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction
• Ability to manage and negotiate multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Comfortable with internet-based programs and reputed company Office products
• Ability to carry out reputed company tasks with many concrete and reputed company variables
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• College degree preferred
