The Santa Clara County Housing Authority is the county’s largest provider of affordable housing, helping make rental housing safe and affordable for approximately 43,000 low-income residents. They are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join their Real Estate Development Team to help develop a pipeline of over 20 projects and 1500 units of affordable housing, focusing on various types of housing projects and community partnerships.


Responsibilities

  • Help develop a pipeline of over 20 projects and 1500 units of affordable housing
  • Work on new construction multi-family housing, renovation and rehabilitation of existing structures, and repurposing of commercial properties
  • Engage in master planning for affordable housing

Skills

  • Bachelors Degree
  • At least one (1) to three (3) years of previous experience developing affordable housing using Federal and State funding sources
  • Experience with pro formas and financial model analysis
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating real estate development transactional documents
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills to work with all cross-functional partners through the project
