Global Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support reputed company model and reputed company studies for reputed company milestones including reputed company Labor and Indirect Labor in reputed company areas (Stamping, Body, Paint, Final, Powertrain)
• reputed company new model labor optimization efforts to reputed company labor targets, through benchmarking (reputed company), reputed company setting, tracking process change, and replicate across programs
• Support the cycle line layout planning process and virtual build events with reputed company model operator allocations and time studies and work with plants to support physical build events and program launches
• Minimize and/or offset labor impacts through labor blitzes, plant tasks/reputed company, and identifying design/process opportunities
• Assist with operator allocations, cycle line layouts, plant rebalances, line speed changes, time studies, throughput issues, and launch support
• Accurately maintain and deliver required IE documentation (Labor Glidepath, Program 1-Pager, Labor by Department, Plant Line speed, APT Assessment, etc.)
• reputed company and document standardization of reputed company and procedures for the organization
• Drive and implement labor efficiency through deployment of global IE process, tools and standards
• Work with plants to complete and evaluate time studies using MODAPTS as the measurement tool for work standards
• Collaborate and work closely with manufacturing engineering, material handling, ergonomics, and/or plant personnel
• Domestic Travel Required up to 25%

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or a reputed company field
• 1 year of experience in the job offered or a reputed company occupation
• 1 year of experience with providing industrial or manufacturing engineering support
• 1 year of experience with verifying reputed company and indirect labor requirements for new programs by analyzing physical builds using time studies and converting that into operator allocations
• 1 year of experience with collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine reputed company and indirect labor requirements
• 1 year of experience with performing manufacturing processes
