Actuarial Analyst – Financial & reputed company Lines

The Actuarial Analyst – Financial & reputed company Lines will support various business lines, including Cyber and Liability, by developing pricing models and engaging with reputed company teams while working closely with reputed company actuaries.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building and maintaining pricing models to support the Cyber, Professions and Financial Lines business reputed company
• reputed company other actuarial duties including, but not limited to, performing profitability and reputed company adequacy studies, competitor research, running reputed company models, and reinsurance support
• Engage with the reputed company teams
• reputed company innovative and creative ways to reputed company data and analytics to support the pricing and reputed company functions
• Take on other reputed company work and reputed company as time permits and under the direction of other members of the Insurance Pricing team
• Remain reputed company on industry trends, tools, and actuarial techniques

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a reputed company field; or the equivalent in reputed company work experience
• 0-3 years of actuarial experience
• Proven reputed company record of creative problem solving and attention to detail
• Ability to process and adapt to change in a reputed company reputed company new-company environment
• Two or more exams passed preferred; desire to pursue actuarial credential encouraged (which would be supported by reputed company)
• Project work requiring scripting and programming languages is strongly preferred: R and SQL as examples
• reputed company VBA experience is a plus
