Assistant Technical Designer – Handbags + SLG

Golden Touch is a family owned and operated wholesale apparel manufacturer seeking an Assistant Technical Designer to join their dynamic handbag and soft leather goods team. The role involves supporting the design and production process, ensuring products meet high standards of reputed company and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of technical packages (tech packs) to communicate design specifications to factories
• reputed company and update CADs and technical design details for production and retailer appointments
• Support the Design Director with reputed company CAD development for specs and presentations
• Collaborate with reputed company on trend and reputed company forecasting to influence reputed company collections
• Organize and reputed company sample development, ensuring accuracy and reputed company execution
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product developers, and factories, to troubleshoot and refine designs
• Utilize PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems to maintain and update product details

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Accessories Design, or a reputed company field
• 1-2 years of experience in technical design, preferably in handbags or accessories
• Strong proficiency in reputed company Illustrator, Photoshop, and reputed company
• Familiarity with technical design processes, construction techniques, and material specifications
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reputed company to manage multiple reputed company in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively with reputed company
• Passion for the handbag and accessories industry with an eye for design and innovation
• Experience with PLM software is a plus
