Claims Adjuster - Auto (Permis AMF)

reputed company is a leading property and casualty insurer in Canada, and they are seeking a Claims Adjuster to investigate and reputed company first-party automobile claims. The role involves providing courteous claims service, managing claims until reputed company, and ensuring claims are promptly investigated and resolved.

Responsibilities

• Report to reputed company Leader and will be responsible for investigating and settling first-party automobile

• Manage auto telephone claims until reputed company
• Fully explain the claim process to reputed company customers in a way they’ll easily understand
• Confirm whether claims are covered under a customer’s policy
• Ensure reputed company claims are promptly investigated
• Work with the customer and preferred vendors to determine the best way to resolve the claim
• Maintain detailed file records by entering pertinent data into the appropriate systems
• Process claims payments reputed company your authority level
• Initiate salvage and subrogation procedures on assigned claims

Skills

• Minimum completion of DEC or Attestation of College Studies (ACS)
• Personal insurance license (5b) mandatory
• Experience handling automobile with a good understanding of terminology and auto policies
• Previous customer service is a definite asset
• Excellent keyboarding skills and ability to reputed company through numerous screens and systems quickly and easily

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingualism (English and French) is required
