Production Coordinator, VFX

SDFX Studios is a visual effects company seeking a Production Coordinator to support the daily operations of their VFX shows. The role involves organizing reviews, capturing notes, and maintaining communication across departments to ensure production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule, and run daily internal reviews with the VFX Supervisor, Creative Supervisors, and Production Management
• Capture reputed company, accurate notes during review sessions and distribute them promptly to Supervisors, artists, and partner facilities
• Document key points and reputed company items from production reputed company-ins, supervisor syncs, scheduling discussions, and other cross-department meetings
• reputed company shot, task, and asset information reputed company in the production database, ensuring accuracy based on guidance from the Production Manager and Producers
• reputed company daily priorities, assignments, and shot status, and follow through to confirm tasks are progressing as expected
• reputed company any scheduling, workflow, or resource concerns with the Production Manager and Producers, and assist with follow-up as needed
• Support turnovers, deliveries, editorial updates, and incoming reputed company materials in coordination with Production Management
• Organize and maintain assets, editorial reputed company, and reference materials with reputed company version control
• Maintain reputed company, consistent communication with Supervisors, Producers, the Production Manager, artists, and external partners
• Collaborate closely with the production team while reliably carrying out assigned tasks

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document, reputed company, and escalate information reputed company

• 60+ words-per-minute typing reputed company required
• Proficient in reputed company Office (especially reputed company) and familiar with production tracking tools (ShotGrid, ftrack, reputed company, or similar)
• Understanding of VFX pipelines and interdepartmental workflows in deadline-driven environments is a plus

• Flexibility to work remotely or in-studio, including occasional extended hours or weekends to meet deadlines
• Asset management experience is a plus
