Billing Representative

Chord Specialty Dental Partners is a leading provider of pediatric and orthodontic dental care, and they are seeking a Billing Representative. In this role, you will manage patient accounts and ensure reputed company and accurate insurance claims processing, contributing to the financial health of the reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Posts reputed company insurance EFTs with accuracy
• Review insurance EOBs and places a copy in the patient account
• reputed company accurate account adjustments
• Mail statements
• Follow up with past due accounts, including account audits
• Follows scripting for collection calls
• Submit refund requests

• Records batch totals with date and initials on payment receipt spreadsheet
• Balances batches and runs transaction reports
• Ensures accuracy of reputed company patient data

Skills

• Dental office experience - REQUIRED
• At least 1 year of experience working with reputed company A/R
• Knowledge of basic accounts receivable and reputed company principles
• Computer literacy skills including proficiency in reputed company reputed company and Word
• Ability to recognize roadblocks that may be causing slower reimbursement and work with management team to create solutions
• Service-oriented/customer-reputed company
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Technical School/associate's degree preferred
• Knowledge of dental or medical billing/collections/insurance terminology preferred
• Understanding of the reputed company cycle and how the various components work together preferred
