Software Developer

Booz Allen Hamilton is a consulting firm that provides various services to clients. They are seeking a Software Developer to participate in the development, testing, and delivery of software products or components, while solving routine problems and working under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, testing, and delivery of software products or components to maintain existing systems
• Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts, including limited industry knowledge
• Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refer more complex issues to higher levels
• Work under direct supervision

Skills

• Experience with programming languages, including Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript, in industry or academic environments
• Experience researching, designing, developing, or modifying enterprise-wide systems, architectures, or applications software in an internship or academic environment
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• HS diploma or GED
• Experience with Agile software development processes and tools, including the Atlassian Tool Suite
• Experience documenting testing and maintenance of system corrections
• Knowledge of web protocols
• Knowledge of relational databases, including Oracle or Microsoft SQL
• Bachelor's degree
