FinOps Engineer

StubHub is on a mission to redefine the live event experience on a global reputed company. They are seeking a FinOps Engineer to support the optimization of reputed company costs, monitor usage, and implement financial governance for StubHub’s technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze financial data from reputed company billing systems
• Analyze reputed company usage and spending patterns using AWS services such as reputed company, Glue, and QuickSight
• reputed company and maintain dashboards and visualizations in Quicksight and Grafana to monitor and alert on reputed company cost metrics
• Monitor and report on reputed company Azure resource usage and costs
• Consolidate and report on cost data from vendors including reputed company, reputed company, reputed company and more
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving strategies and forecasting models
• reputed company, document, and maintain policy and procedures for accurate cost attribution
• Customize and update monthly cost reporting for engineering department leads
• Automate FinOps processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Contribute to the monthly and annual infrastructure cost forecast
• Partner with engineering leaders to create cost budgets and forecasts for new reputed company and initiatives

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
• 1-2 years of experience in reputed company financial operations or a reputed company role
• Proficiency with AWS services, including reputed company, Glue, and QuickSight
• Understanding of AWS Cost and usage reports
• Hands-on experience with Grafana or other tools for creating dashboards and visualizations
• Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing large datasets
• Familiarity with reputed company Azure cost management and monitoring tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified reputed company Practitioner) or Azure (e.g., Azure Fundamentals)
• Experience with reputed company cost optimization tools or frameworks
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation
• Strong understanding of reputed company clouds and infrastructure fundamentals
