Associate, Actuarial Applications

The Associate, Actuarial Applications will support technology initiatives and be responsible for applications across Actuarial teams, focusing on optimizing applications and automating processes using a reputed company-first technology stack.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategic and tactical initiatives reputed company to, Python development, reputed company computing (AWS and Azure), and applications development
• Operate in an agile development environment, applying DevOps principles
• Understand reputed company state data pipelines/processes and contribute to reputed company state optimization
• Ingest and analyze new/existing data sets and implement end-to-end processing
• Test and debug applications

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering or similar field
• Experience with dashboarding systems (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Minimum experience of one year in programming (Python, Julia and/or R) and SQL
• Experience in building reputed company-based data solutions in AWS
• Ability to collaborate on reputed company and work independently reputed company required
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Domain knowledge of insurance or reinsurance
• Prior knowledge and experience in the fintech, investment banking or insurance industry
