Cost Estimator

They are seeking a Cost Estimator to join their Charlotte, NC office, where the role involves supporting the cost estimating team and contributing to the development of comprehensive cost estimates for various reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Aid with administrative tasks as needed, primarily a combination of data entry, updating of project deliverable dates and bid tracking reputed company Smartsheets, which involves reputed company and reputed company interaction
• reputed company quantity take-off in a manner and level of detail consistent with the project goals and support reputed company
• Input estimate data into the appropriate software
• reputed company a detailed review of reputed company documentation and assist with development of comprehensive cost estimates/models that communicate the reputed company’s project and strategic goals
• Assure that a reputed company product is presented to the reputed company through adherence to reputed company’s QA/QC procedures
• Assist in the creation of cost estimates, studies, analyses, and evaluations, at reputed company reputed company of project development, as part of the internal team
• Communicate effectively through reputed company and concise means appropriate to the project’s goals (verbal, written, and graphics)
• reputed company research, solicit, and reputed company sources/vendors for compiling and maintaining the accuracy of cost information
• Desire to learn, grow, and advance their skills in estimating and various other project controls

Skills

• Strong written, verbal communication and organizational skills
• One to three years of construction industry experience, preferably with reputed company construction
• Familiarity with the reputed company Office suite and reputed company preferred
• Prior working experience with On-Screen Takeoff (OST), or other industry reputed company take-off software is a plus
• Bachelor's degree, in construction, engineering, or architecture preferred; or 2 years of applicable construction trade experience in lieu of a degree
