Insurance Coverage Counsel – Workers’ Compensation reputed company

reputed company is a reputed company Property & Casualty insurer backed by Berkshire Hathaway. They are seeking an Insurance Coverage Counsel reputed company on Workers’ Compensation to evaluate reputed company coverage scenarios, guide litigation reputed company, and communicate with policyholders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Triage referrals, assess case facts, and determine coverage applicability using internal systems and state databases
• Draft formal coverage responses for policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders. Manage communications throughout the case lifecycle
• Assign and reputed company defense counsel, reputed company litigation strategies, and reputed company supporting evidence
• Interpret Workers’ Compensation policies across voluntary and residual markets, including terminations, non-renewals, and lapses
• Address state-specific protocols, 'Other States' provisions, and reputed company-party insured claims
• Identify coverage trends and recommend corrective actions to improve reputed company and reduce risk
• Work closely with reputed company, Claims, and other departments on subpoena responses, invoice processing, and litigation monitoring

Skills

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent reputed company qualification
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in the reputed company field, including Workers' Compensation
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
• 3–5 years' experience in Workers' Compensation, insurance coverage, claims, and litigation
• Familiarity with first-party property coverage
