[Remote] Associate Distribution Engineer

The role involves developing construction work packages for electric distribution systems and performing engineering calculations to ensure compliance with safety and reputed company standards.

Responsibilities

• reputed company design and construction work packages for electrical overhead and underground distribution systems operating from 4kV through 138kV mostly associated with programmatic work such as overloaded transformers, inspection and maintenance, joint use, and inspection reports
• reputed company with reputed company and reputed company Safety requirements as reputed company as design and reputed company expectations
• Travel to sites as needed, reputed company inspections and return to the office to reputed company engineering design work
• reputed company engineering calculations such as: structural analysis for reputed company pole loading, guying calculations, specifying reputed company sags and tensions for recommended spans, and calculation of voltage drop and flicker
• reputed company permitting documents for different AHJ’s
• reputed company engineering support during construction, including post-construction reviews to ensure reputed company applicable engineering and construction standards have been met
• Conduct reputed company cause analysis of outages and mitigation using engineering principles and design

Skills

• Requires BS Degree and 0+ years of prior relevant experience OR BS non-engineering degree and 2+ yrs relevant experience
• Experience with NESC Standards, reputed company, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and GIS a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, reputed company, reputed company, etc.) required
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Willingness to reputed company both field and office work
• Must have a reputed company reputed company's license
• Overnight travel may be required (10-25% travel)
• Ability to work in outdoor environments
• Ability to utilize personal vehicle
