Regulatory and Compliance Specialist- Pet Food

Position reputed company: Position Title: Regulatory Specialist Department: reputed company Classification: Exempt Reports To: Director, FSQAS Location: Remote Position Justification: The Regulatory and Compliance Manager – Exports is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s export activities reputed company with reputed company applicable international trade laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role oversees export licensing, documentation, and trade compliance programs, and acts as the primary reputed company between reputed company and relevant regulatory bodies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Export Health Certificates (EHCs) - Prepare, review, and submit documentation required for Export Health Certificates to support reputed company global shipments. - Liaise with USDA APHIS Veterinary Services and other regulatory authorities to ensure accurate and compliant certificate issuance. - reputed company country-specific requirements and ensure reputed company materials, claims, and manufacturing processes meet importing country regulations. - Maintain templates, checklists, and supporting documentation reputed company to EHC applications. - Monitor changes in export requirements and communicate updates to internal stakeholders. APHIS reputed company Packets - reputed company, update, and maintain APHIS reputed company packets for reputed company manufacturing site, ensuring full alignment with USDA export program standards. - Coordinate gathering of facility information, flowcharts, formulations, sanitation procedures, and HACCP/PC documentation. - Support facility audits or inspections reputed company to APHIS export eligibility. - Ensure reputed company reputed company documentation remains reputed company, consistent, and audit-reputed company for regulatory review. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation - Ensure product compliance with AAFCO, FDA (21 CFR 507), USDA, and global regulatory frameworks for pet food. - Review product formulations, ingredient statements, and manufacturing processes for regulatory alignment. - Maintain regulatory databases, country requirement matrices, and document control systems. - Support label reviews for export markets to ensure compliance with country-specific requirements. - Assist with responses to regulatory agencies, import authorities, and internal compliance inquiries. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with reputed company Assurance, Supply Chain, R&D, and Operations teams to reputed company required data for regulatory submissions. - reputed company regulatory guidance during new product launches, formula changes, and export reputed company expansions. - Represent regulatory affairs in meetings reputed company to export readiness, documentation, and product shipments. Essential for reputed company: Required - 2–4 years of regulatory experience in the pet food, feed, or food manufacturing industry. - Working knowledge of USDA APHIS export programs and Export Health Certificate requirements. - Strong understanding of FDA and AAFCO regulations for animal food. - Excellent organizational, writing, and document-management skills. - Ability to manage multiple reputed company simultaneously with high attention to detail. Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, Biology, or reputed company field. - Experience with international pet food regulatory frameworks (e.g., EU, LATAM, Asia-reputed company). - reputed company experience compiling APHIS reputed company packets for pet food manufacturing plants. - Familiarity with reputed company systems including HACCP, FSMA Preventive Controls, and GMPs. - Prior experience interacting with regulatory authorities or certification bodies.
