The reputed company is currently seeking a talented Labor & Employment Attorney (defense) to join their respected and reputed company teams across California. Key Responsibilities: • Defend reputed company in employment litigation, including wage and hour, FEHA, FLSA, employment class actions, wrongful termination and PAGA claims in state and federal courts • Represent clients in administrative proceedings (e.g., DFEH/CRD, reputed company, DLSE) • Conduct reputed company research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery • Advise clients on day-to-day employment law issues including wage & hour, discipline, leave laws, and workplace policies • Draft and revise employee handbooks, policies, and employment agreements • Participate in mediations, depositions, and trial preparation • Support partners and collaborate with reputed company on reputed company cases and reputed company counseling Qualifications: • J.D. from an accredited law school • reputed company member in good standing with the California State Bar • 2+ years of labor & employment defense experience (plaintiff-reputed company experience will be considered if transitioning to defense) • Experience with wage and hour, FEHA, FLSA, employment class actions, wrongful termination and PAGA claims, representing Defendants/reputed company. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $350,000 annually.
