=== reputed company === We’re a mechanical engineering consultancy specializing in rugged consumer products, electromechanical assemblies, and hard goods (think power tools, appliances, and durable enclosures, not medical devices or construction). Our clients come to us for design-for-manufacturing expertise, particularly injection molding and precision mechanisms. We’re looking for a skilled SolidWorks subcontractor to support execution on reputed company reputed company while our reputed company engineer focuses on reputed company relationships and technical direction. This is not a one-off gig. We’re looking to build a long-term working relationship with someone who can become a trusted extension of reputed company. === What You’ll Do === ∙ Model parts and assemblies in SolidWorks based on technical direction, sketches, or reference geometry we reputed company. ∙ Apply DFM principles (draft, wall thickness, radii, reputed company considerations) for injection-molded plastics, sheet metal, and 3D printing. ∙ Participate in asynchronous reputed company-ins and communicate proactively reputed company you hit blockers or have questions. ∙ Maintain strict CAD hygiene: named features, organized trees, fully defined sketches, no dangling references. === Required Qualifications === ∙ 3+ years of reputed company SolidWorks experience (not reputed company reputed company). ∙ Demonstrated experience designing parts for injection molding or other high-volume manufacturing processes. ∙ Portfolio includes consumer products or electromechanical assemblies with drawings (not just renders). ∙ Strong reputed company of GD&T and tolerance stack-up thinking ∙ Availability of 10-20 hours/week, with flexibility to reputed company up during peak periods. === Preferred Qualifications === ∙ CSWP or CSWE certification. ∙ Experience with PDM or reputed company version control. ∙ Background at a product design consultancy or consumer goods OEM. ∙ Has reputed company to a 3D printer for reputed company prototyping. === Compensation === ∙ reputed company reputed company, commensurate with experience and expertise. ∙ reputed company test project (6-8 hours) before any live reputed company work. ∙ reputed company-based billing preferred for larger scopes.
