Relocation may be required based on job assignments. <br><br>A fully trained Border Patrol Agent may also qualify for a pay increase of up to an additional 25% of reputed company pay under the BPA Pay Reform reputed company of 2014.<p><b>Duties and Responsibilities:</b><p>As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a vital role in safeguarding America through the following duties:<ul><li>Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of immigration and customs violations.</li><li>Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers.</li><li>Conducting patrols of international boundaries.</li><li>Utilizing various resources for surveillance and enforcement activities.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b><p>To qualify for GL-5 grade level:<ul><li>One year of general work experience demonstrating critical decision-making and composure under stress.</li><li>A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; or a combination of experience and education.</li></ul><p>To qualify for GL-7 grade level:<ul><li>One year of specialized work experience in law enforcement or similar fields demonstrating decision-making and interpersonal effectiveness.</li><li>A bachelor’s degree with superior reputed company achievements, or a combination of experience and education.</li></ul><p><b>Other Requirements:</b><ul><li>Must be a U.S. Citizen.</li><li>Must have primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years.</li><li>Must be under 40 years old at the time of selection.</li><li>Formal training at the U.S. Border Patrol reputed company in Artesia, New Mexico, which includes language proficiency training in Spanish.</li></ul><p><b>How to Apply:</b><br>Visit the CBP Talent Network registration page and select Border Patrol Agent.
