Senior Creative Writer - Contract Role

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and versatile Creative Writer to join our team on a contracting basis. Reporting directly to the Content Director, this role is ideal for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver high-quality, original content under tight deadlines. The Creative Writer will be responsible for crafting compelling promotional emails, landing page copy, social media content (as needed), and other writing tasks that may arise. While leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity is encouraged, we are looking for someone who prioritizes originality and creativity in their work. Key Responsibilities: • Write engaging and persuasive promotional emails that drive conversions and align with brand voice. • Develop impactful landing page copy that captures attention and motivates action. • Create concise and effective social media copy when required, tailored to various platforms. • Collaborate with the Content Director and other team members to ensure all content aligns with marketing goals and brand guidelines. • Adapt to tight deadlines and produce high volumes of quality copy in a fast-paced environment. • Utilize AI tools to support the writing process while ensuring the final output is original and creative. • Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends to inform and inspire content creation. • Revise and edit content based on feedback to ensure accuracy, clarity, and effectiveness. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Creative Writer, Copywriter, or similar role, preferably in a marketing or advertising environment. • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail. • Ability to produce high-quality content quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines. • Familiarity with AI writing tools and the ability to use them as a supplement to creative work, not as a replacement. • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices. • Experience writing for promotional emails, landing pages, and social media platforms. • Ability to adapt tone and style to match brand voice and audience needs. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • A proactive attitude and willingness to take on diverse writing tasks as they arise. Preferred Skills: • Knowledge of SEO principles and how to apply them to copywriting. • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms. • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
