Marketing Associate

Heal The Earth is dedicated to transforming the food system for the benefit of farmers, ranchers, and consumers. They are seeking a Marketing Associate to lead communication efforts, manage content, and support marketing initiatives to build brand awareness and drive growth in the Organic Avocado market.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns including digital, social media, email, and traditional marketing tactics
• Draft and edit marketing materials, such as social media posts, newsletters, flyers, blog articles, and product descriptions
• Support data collection and analysis on industry trends, target audiences, and competitor activities to help inform marketing strategies
• Help maintain and grow our social media presence through regular posting, engagement tracking, and content scheduling
• Assist in organizing promotional events, product tastings, and community outreach efforts
• Maintain marketing calendars, update CRM databases, and help with tracking key performance indicators and reporting
• Work with cross-functional teams including sales, farm partners, and product teams to support marketing goals
• Communicate with external vendors and service providers as needed to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and services

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in a marketing support role, preferably in agriculture, food, or consumer goods
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools such as email platforms, social media scheduling tools, and content creation software
• Familiarity with Shopify, Google Workspace and Canva; experience with CRM systems or basic graphic design a plus
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a mission-driven team
