Editorial Content Writer
eBay is a global ecommerce leader that is changing the way the world shops and sells. The Editorial Content Writer will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing auction items, ensuring accuracy and appeal to a wide audience.
Responsibilities
- Research, write, and edit items across all verticals for Goldin's auctions
- Gain a valuable knowledge base across sports cards, memorabilia, game-used memorabilia, and other collectibles
- Maintaining and improving editorial standards in current and emerging verticals
- Highlight team and cross-functional collaboration and interaction by working with Sales and Inventory on client relationships and standards
- Working with clients to ensure their descriptions are up to standard and to a level satisfactory to the customer
- Interface with clients to make changes and edits to descriptions to ensure customer satisfaction and accuracy
Skills
- A detail-oriented work ethic that strives for 100 percent accuracy in writing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Immaculate grammar and spelling is a must
- Team player and problem-solver with a track record of working collaboratively
- Storyteller with a knack for finding diamonds in the rough
