Architectural Designer I

Egis is a global leader in the consulting, construction engineering, and mobility service sectors, and they are seeking an Architectural Designer I to join their Coral Gables studio. In this role, you will support the Project Architect/Manager in the design and development of project documents for large scale residential and hospitality projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify architectural deliverables as directed
• Develop presentation and design drawings to convey design intent
• Actively contribute original design ideas and solutions
• Develop 3D Models as directed

Skills

• Strong 3D Modeling skills (SketchUp, Rhino, and Revit)
• Proficiency in rendering software (Vray, Lumion and 3D Studio Max)
• Proficiency with CAD/BIM drafting software (AutoCAD and Revit)
• Advanced knowledge of BIM or Parametric Design is an asset (Revit, Dynamo and Grasshopper)
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
• Ability to sketch and develop design ideas graphically (Diagramming by hand or digitally)
• Ability to discuss and communicate ideas with verbal and graphic clarity
• Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Fast learner who can adapt to a variety of project requirements
• Graduate of an accredited professional architectural degree program (BARCH or MARCH)
• Actively working towards licensure and the AXP program
• Previous work experience in residential, mixed-use and hospitality projects
