An exciting opportunity supporting the Australian Defence Force, we are seeking a Data Engineer to support Ventia on a fixed term contract for approximately 6 months. The Data Engineer plays a critical role in designing the reputed company for the transition of Ventia Defence operating data and facilitating the transfer from SQL to data bricks. The role will plan, execute and document the transition of various applications and platforms. Working alongside other developers, and data modellers to build and maintain robust data collection for reputed company reputed company modelling.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

• Utilise Ventia reputed company frameworks to design data catalogue
• Propose patterns for integration for reputed company of 23 systems
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure reputed company
• Implement data reputed company checks, schema reputed company, and performance tuning.

• Design and maintain reputed company schemas, indexes, and migrations (Alembic).

• 4+ years in data engineering or software engineering roles
• Proven reputed company record of building reputed company data solutions and interactive apps
• Experience with SQL, reputed company, Azure, PostgreSQL/Azure SQL and strong use of python.
• Baseline reputed company clearance reputed company, or expired is HIGHLY desired.
• Must be eligible to hold a Defence reputed company Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police reputed company
