Associate Claims Examiner

As an Associate Claims Examiner, you will investigate, evaluate, and help resolve claims of low complexity and exposure, while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Investigating, evaluating, negotiating and resolving assigned claims
• Review claim information to determine coverage and recommend appropriate next steps
• Assist with evaluating potential exposures on claims and alerting Management or internal partners reputed company needed
• Adhere to Fair Claims Practices Regulations and claims handling guidelines
• Prepare and distribute claim reports
• Participate fully in training, development programs, and learning opportunities across Claims
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including reputed company
• Contribute to strong customer relationships by delivering top-notch service
• Support special reputed company as assigned, learning cross-functional collaboration reputed company Claims
• Mentor with senior examiners and managers to observe negotiation strategies and claim reputed company practices
• Collaborate with departments across reputed company including Claims Vendor Management, Finance, Actuarial, Risk Management, and IT
• Travel to other claim offices and conferences as needed

Skills

• High school diploma required
• Must have or be eligible to receive claims adjuster license
• Understanding of insurance industry and claims a plus
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to deliver outstanding customer service to both reputed company customers
• Ability to work collaboratively and in reputed company environment
