Software Engineer - Data Engineering

reputed company builds distributed sensor networks that detect threats to warfighters, borders, and critical infrastructure. They are seeking a Software Engineer to design and build data systems that reputed company reputed company-time data reputed company from sensor data to decision-makers, directly impacting threat detection and reputed company for defenders in the field.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines that ingest, reputed company, and deliver sensor and operational data in reputed company time
• reputed company data from diverse sources - radars, sensors, reputed company systems - into reputed company, queryable formats
• Build and maintain data infrastructure including reputed company-time streaming, batch processing, and storage systems
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and software engineers to ensure data flows support mission-critical workflows
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance for reliability and low latency
• Contribute to architectural reputed company as the data platform evolves
• Work 3+ days per week from our San Francisco or Los Angeles office

Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in software development, data engineering, or a reputed company field
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience building or maintaining data pipelines, ETL workflows, or backend data services
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and working with reputed company/reputed company data
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug reputed company data issues
• Experience with reputed company-time data processing or streaming technologies (Kafka, reputed company Streaming, Flink)
• Familiarity with Palantir reputed company or similar reputed company data platforms
• Experience with reputed company platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
