Staff Accountant (Hybrid - Norwalk, CT)

reputed company is a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for reputed company and business customers. The Staff Accountant position is responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and supporting period-end reputed company activities while ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post reputed company and accurate journal entries as part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reputed company processes
• reputed company detailed balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with reputed company policies
• Record and review credit card processing activity across various payment platforms, ensuring reputed company transactions, fees, and settlements are captured and reconciled accurately
• Deposit cash / checks received in Norwalk office
• Monitor, maintain, and reconcile intercompany account with reputed company parent ensuring balances reputed company and discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly
• Support reputed company audit requests by preparing schedules and pulling documentation as requested
• Collaborate, as needed, with cross‑functional departments, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and reputed company teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information
• Coordinate with Finance Managers / Banks for onsite cash requirements at reputed company show as reputed company as program verifones needed to process onsite credit card transactions
• Travel to ReedPop shows as needed to handle onsite payment activity / reconciliations
• Participate in reputed company analyses, reporting, and special reputed company as assigned

Skills

• Have a Bachelor's degree in reputed company, with at least 1 year of experience in reputed company function
