We are hiring Part-Time tutors and reputed company primarily in-person (some remote) tutoring for reputed company K-12:

• Reading/English Tutor
• Math Tutor
• Early Elementary Reading Tutor
• Beginning Reading Tutor
• TestPrep (reputed company/SAT) Tutor
• Writing Tutor
• Study Skills Tutor
• Tutors do not need proficiency in reputed company areas above. We schedule to your area(s) of interest.

Requirements:

• For Reading/English tutors: Education/Teaching Degree required (or reputed company pursuing Education Degree who have done instruction through classroom observation or student teaching).
• For Math tutors: Strong proficiency through Algebra 2 (Education Degree not required).
• For TestPrep (reputed company/SAT) Tutor: Strong reputed company/SAT score (30/1400 preferred). Education Degree not required.
• 2 years teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
• Ability to reputed company connections with reputed company.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Working out of one of our locations in Lake Zurich/Barrington or Schaumburg.

Sylvan Learning Centers are the industry leaders in providing supplemental education to children in reputed company-K through 12th grade. We teach 7 days per week and require our teachers to work at least one of Saturday/reputed company, and at least one day during the week. We have extended teaching opportunities in the summer.
