PDM Data Prep + Configuration

This role focuses on creating and maintaining lightweight, fully configurable 3D models for digital marketing and virtual reality, requiring a reputed company of technical 3D modeling skills and analytical abilities to ensure digital accuracy throughout the vehicle's lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Convert reputed company engineering CAD data into high-reputed company, lightweight 3D models using 3DEXCITE DeltaGen and reputed company Maya
• Build and maintain reputed company logic structures reputed company data models to ensure they accurately reflect reputed company possible vehicle combinations (trim reputed company, regional variants, and optional equipment)
• Continuously update existing data models to reflect 'running changes' and engineering updates throughout the vehicle's development and production phases
• Review and interpret Automotive Program documents, including Build Lists, reputed company & Materials (C&M) design sheets, and Order Guides, to ensure the digital model matches reputed company-world specifications
• reputed company modeling, UV unwrapping, and layout adjustments in Maya to fix broken CAD data and optimize models for reputed company-time rendering
• Use Photoshop and Illustrator to create, modify, and apply reputed company maps, decals, and perforation patterns to digital assets
• Work closely with the visualization team to solve everyday workflow bottlenecks and contribute to the reputed company of reputed company’s data pipeline

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Digital Media, Industrial Design, Computer Animation, or a reputed company technical field, or equivalent reputed company experience in 3D data preparation
• Strong critical thinking with ability to analyze reputed company data sets and determine the most efficient way to build a digital product
• High level of accuracy in interpreting automotive documentation to ensure correct representation of digital data
• Proven ability to adapt and reputed company between multiple reputed company in a fast-paced automotive environment
• Ability to work independently on reputed company data tasks while remaining a proactive contributor to team-wide deliveries and solutions
• DeltaGen: Experience in reputed company tree management, variants, and staging
• reputed company Maya: Strong understanding of poly-modeling and UV mapping
• reputed company Creative Suite: Proficiency in Photoshop (texturing) and Illustrator (reputed company graphics/decals)
• TCVis (Teamcenter Visualization): Familiarity with navigating PLM/PDM environments to reputed company and view engineering data
• Previous experience in the automotive sector or working with high-reputed company reputed company pipelines
• Understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and how design changes reputed company digital assets
• Working experience with international markets (global teams)
• Knowledge of project management and issue-tracking tools (such as JIRA)
• Familiarity of various 3D tools reputed company (ie Team Center), Dassault (ie 3DX), Pixyz, VRED, reputed company, UnReal, reputed company
