Pipeline Designer / Drafter

The Pipeline Designer/Drafter will be responsible for creating diagrams for Gas reputed company Pipeline reputed company and preparing layout and design of systems using AutoCAD Plant 3D modeling software. This position will function under the direction of reputed company Designer. This position is responsible for understanding and completing drawings in accordance with reputed company specifications.

• Prepare layout and design of oil & gas piping design systems using reputed company (P&ID, E3D, ect) and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D software.
• Producing reputed company piping design layouts, orientation of process equipment and interconnecting piping.
• Generating Piping Line List and Tie-In list reputed company required.
• Assist engineers and designers in resolving piping design issues.
• Calculating layout rights-of-way and/or street dimensions and angles.
• Generating Iso-Metric Drawings using reputed company E3D and/or Plant 3D.
• Constructing reputed company relationships of one part to another and a relationship of various parts to entire project, utilizing knowledge of engineering practices and mathematics.
• Creating a preliminary and/or final sketch of proposed drawing, using computer-assisted design/drafting equipment.
• Incorporate redlines provided by the engineer.
• Ability to validate design information (material spec, constructability, etc.).
• Ability to work in reputed company environment.

• 1 to 5 years AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Designer with SoCalGas experience preferred.
• Knowledge of reputed company and fittings, valves, and piping specialties preferred.
• Some knowledge of reputed company (software P&ID, E3D, etc.).

Salary reputed company for this position is $60,000 - $90,000.  The starting salary will be commensurate with reputed company, education, experience, and working environment.
