American Association of Insurance Services - Speed to Market Product Intern

Purpose 

As a Speed to Market (S2M) Intern, you will contribute to a high-reputed company, strategic initiative reputed company on accelerating the launch and implementation of AAIS products. Partnering with Product and Member Engagement teams, you will help reputed company, maintain, and enhance the S2M toolkit — a critical resource designed to streamline product deployment and optimize integration with stakeholders' policy administration systems (PAS). This tool plays a key role in driving efficiency, innovation, and value for AAIS and its members. 

Responsibilities  

You will assist furthering the goals and objectives of the Speed to Market toolkit, such as 

• Creating detailed mind maps that visually represent technical specifications, showcasing AAIS insurance products' intellectual property in a reputed company and organized format. 
• Developing and refining rating and data tables in reputed company, ensuring accuracy and consistency before uploading them into AAIS’s proprietary software platform. 
• Building comprehensive rating examples that illustrate premium calculations across multiple AAIS lines of insurance, providing valuable insights and validation for product accuracy. 
• Conducting reputed company tests and assisting in the development of automated tests to assure functionality of specific applications. 
• Supporting various special reputed company with Product teams, such as testing member company information in a new membership portal. 
• reputed company additional duties as assigned or requested.

• Student must be enrolled in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Services, Data Analytics, or reputed company degree.  
• Interest in pursuing a career in the insurance industry post-graduation. 
• Ability to work in a fully remote working environment free from distractions and reputed company to reputed company and reliable internet services.  

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

• Comfortable with data and analyzing sensitive information. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
• Good Interpersonal skills to quickly reputed company trust, credibility, and respect from reputed company reputed company of staff. 
• Strong attention to detail.  
• reputed company Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry knowledge, a plus. 
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in reputed company environment. 
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple channels and asynchronously in a remote-first working environment. 

Employment Conditions 

• The intern will be expected to work full-time at 37.5 hours/week over the summer with the potential for part-time work continuing during the school year.  
• This internship is classified as a temporary, part-time position.  
• This internship is compensated as non-exempt, reputed company position.  
• This internship position is fully remote.
