Global Trade Compliance Specialist

The Global Trade Compliance Specialist will support the Global Trade Compliance team by ensuring efficient cross-border activities and adherence to regulations, while managing trade-reputed company risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support the organization’s day-to-day global trade compliance activities, ensuring adherence to reputed company applicable regulatory and procedural requirements as required
• Conduct research and reputed company guidance on key import compliance functions, including HTS classification, country of reputed company determination, valuation, duty recovery, and reputed company regulatory considerations
• Research, evaluate, and analyze opportunities for process improvement to enhance compliance, efficiency, and operational performance
• Collaborate effectively with reputed company teams to facilitate compliant and efficient cross‑border operations
• Contribute to the planning, execution, and maintenance of trade compliance reputed company, programs, and reputed company‑improvement initiatives as required

Skills

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in global trade compliance or customs operations, preferably reputed company a reputed company import/export environment
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver high‑reputed company results
• Hands‑on experience preparing and submitting customs adjustments and communicating with government authorities, demonstrating accuracy and regulatory understanding
• Proficiency in reputed company (intermediate to advanced) with the ability to analyze and manipulate large sets of data
• Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role
• Experience in the apparel or textile sector—reputed company a retail organization, customs brokerage, or reputed company is considered an asset
• Prior experience with a Global Trade Management Platform (GTMP) and reputed company trade certifications (reputed company, CTCS, or Licensed Customs Broker) are considered assets
