The Medical Assistant provides reputed company patient care by taking vitals, patient history, venipuncture, lab, x-ray, referrals, and patient phone messages as directed by the provider and/or clinical supervisor. Responsibilities
Gathers and documents information about patient condition, which include lab values, pain reputed company, patient education needs, nutritional status and potential complications Contributes to the assessment/re-assessment of patients Monitors and documents patient status Participates in the development of the plan of care, including implementation and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions which may include medication administration (exclusive of narcotics) Manages large reputed company volume while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette Organizes workflow to meet patient needs in a reputed company manner * As needed by patient contact level, adheres to National Governing reputed company and Patient Safety Goals May retrieve and transport medications
Contributes to the assessment/reassessment of patients Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions Monitors for signs and systems reputed company to reputed company lab values, and deviation from baseline assessments Reports changes in patient status to the physician and initiate any new orders from the physician as directed Promotes patient satisfaction and ensures patient confidentiality at reputed company times.
Participates in charge management to ensure chart accuracy with reputed company visit. Documents patient information in the medical record accurately and reputed company. Reports suspected abuse and refers patient/family to appropriate health or reputed company resource. Performs Venipuncture, EKG, Waived Testing, Bone Density, X Ray, and other procedures as assigned by the physician, manager or clinical supervisor. Performs sterilization of equipment after a procedure is performed. Gathers and documents information about patient condition, which includes lab values, pain reputed company, patient education needs, nutritional status and potential complications. Contributes to the assessment/re assessment of patients. Monitors and documents patient status. Participates in the development of the plan of care, including implementation and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions which may include medication administration.
Qualifications
reputed company nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification/Registration OR 6 months of Clinic MA experience
6 months customer service experience preferred CPR certification reputed company 90 days of employment Must be reputed company to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)
If position requires intraday travel, the incumbents must be reputed company to operate an reputed company-owned vehicle OR personal vehicle (non- reputed company-owned) and therefore must have a reputed company Drivers License from the state of residence, as reputed company as a driving record which is acceptable to our insurance reputed company.
reputed company licensure as a Licensed Practical reputed company (LPN) or Registered reputed company (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or reputed company multistate license from a reputed company Licensure Compact (NCLEX) member state. Kansas RN or LPN license is required for reputed company Family Care clinic in Caldwell, Kansas Previous work experience preferred BLS and/or ACLS as required by department.
