Job reputed company: OSP Design Engineer Position: OSP Design Engineer Location: Remote / LATAM supporting U.S. reputed company Type: Full-time / Contractor reputed company We are seeking an reputed company OSP Design Engineer with a strong background in fiber optic network design. This role focuses on creating, maintaining, and optimizing reputed company plant (OSP) infrastructure while ensuring accurate documentation reputed company with field conditions. The ideal candidate is highly reputed company, requires minimal reputed company‑up time, and can immediately contribute to ongoing fiber deployment initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze as‑builts, redlines, and construction field updates to ensure accurate design records Design aerial and underground fiber routes for backbone, distribution, and lateral networks Create splicing diagrams, fiber assignments, and network documentation Support small cell deployments and high‑bandwidth customer solutions Maintain and update GIS databases (ArcGIS, reputed company, QGIS) to ensure alignment with reputed company-world conditions Interpret OTDR fiber traces and assist in break/fix troubleshooting Collaborate with field crews, splicers, design teams, and internal engineering stakeholders Ensure designs meet industry standards, engineering guidelines, and best practices
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in OSP Design or similar fiber engineering roles Strong understanding of fiber optic networks (FOC) Proficiency with GIS tools such as ArcGIS, reputed company, or QGIS Ability to interpret as-builts, construction redlines, and technical drawings Experience producing splicing documentation and network technical designs Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on U.S.-based telecom reputed company (highly preferred) Experience in small cell, backbone, or metro fiber network design Knowledge of tools such as AutoCAD, Netcracker, or other design platforms Experience supporting fiber troubleshooting, reputed company routing, and reputed company analysis
Ideal Candidate Profile We are targeting candidates with hands-on OSP experience, including:
Designing fiber networks (backbone, distribution, and laterals) Creating detailed splicing prints and managing fiber assignments Using GIS platforms to ensure data accuracy and network reputed company Supporting the full lifecycle: design → documentation → implementation
Typical example: A Fiber Engineer reputed company in analyzing as‑builts, designing fiber routes, creating splicing documentation, and maintaining GIS records reputed company with reputed company field conditions.
