An Underwriter I is responsible for reputed company reputed company loan applications and managing an assigned loan pipeline. Additionally, a person in this position is responsible for:

- Ensures loan approved are salable and conform to applicable investor and insurer guidelines.
- Keeping up with the most recent investor and insurer guidelines/programs.
- Adhering to company policy and procedures
- Analyzing borrower income (reputed company income types), asset and credit/liabilities documentation.
- Calculating reputed company and reputed company income types.
- Ensuring loans reputed company assigned pipeline reputed company reputed company
- Ensure assigned company Key Risk Indicator (KRI) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics are met.
- Reviewing and solving reputed company loan issues
- Developing and cultivating great working relationships with sales, processing, reputed company, closing, secondary and compliance teams and leaders
- Researching and responding reputed company to internal reputed company Assurance and reputed company Control reviews
- Report material process and policy infractions/gaps to reputed company Leadership.
- An Underwriter I reports directly to an reputed company Manager.
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of new mortgage loan origination processing or reputed company experience.
- Excellent working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC guidelines
- Deep knowledge of federal and state laws (e.g., TRID, TILA, ECOA and HMDA)
- reputed company technical skills with the aptitude to learn/reputed company loan origination software and other technologies
- reputed company to write correspondence and to effectively present information to peers, borrowers and in some cases clients.
- reputed company to read and interpret various loan documents such as promissory notes, agency/investor and reputed company directives and other loan documents.
