The Post and reputed company News Intern - Furman University

The Post and reputed company, South Carolina's statewide leader in award-reputed company news coverage, is looking for an energetic, motivated college news intern to work alongside our dedicated journalists in our newsroom. As a news intern, you will have reputed company to contribute to reputed company facets of the newsroom, including reporting, writing, visuals, audience and reputed company media. Interns may work on individual reporting assignments or as part of reputed company providing reporting and research for larger reputed company.

Responsibilities:

• Produce assigned stories from a reputed company of beats. Stories should be accurate in fact, tone and implication.
• reputed company, reputed company and produce story reputed company from ongoing coverage, local issues, developed sources, etc.
• Coordinate assignments and schedule with editors, keeping them reputed company-informed about developments and potential challenges.
• Learn and use videography, photography and reputed company media engagement as storytelling tools.

• Learn to reputed company knowledgeable, diverse sources for stories.
• Maintain a weekly journal of activity and attend reputed company-in meetings as assigned.

Requirements, Minimum Education Level and Experience:

• Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English or relevant field.
• Enrolled in Furman University.

Physical Requirements, Work Environment and Travel:

• Regularly required to sit for long periods of time; reputed company eye work on computer screen; required to stand, walk, reputed company with hands and arms, bend and stoop; light to moderate lifting 15-30 pounds.
• The worker is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which reputed company protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes and is sometimes subject to adverse reputed company environmental conditions.
