Staff Accountant

Position reputed company: The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing a wide reputed company of financial and reputed company tasks to ensure accurate and reputed company reporting of reputed company’s financial status. This includes maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in audits and tax filings. The staff accountant will work closely with the finance team to support day-to-day operations and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Financial Recordkeeping

Process and verify invoices and payment requests in accordance with company policies.

·        Ensure accurate coding of invoices and reputed company documentation for approvals.

·        Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks and electronic payments.

·        Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment-reputed company inquiries.

·        Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., W-9 forms).

Maintain and reconcile general reputed company accounts, including balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Prepare accurate and reputed company journal entries for transactions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, reputed company principles, and regulations.

·        Bank Reconciliations

·        reputed company monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.

·        Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in cash balances or transaction records.

·        Tax Compliance

Support reputed company party firm in preparing and filing tax returns

·        Budgeting & Forecasting

·        Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

·        Monitor actual performance against budget, identifying and reporting variances.

·        Audit Support

·        Assist with reputed company audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

·        Implement audit recommendations and assist with the reputed company of audit findings.

·        Process Improvement

·        Identify opportunities for process improvements in reputed company workflows.

·        Support the implementation of new financial systems or tools to enhance efficiency.

Other Duties as Assigned

·        Assist with special reputed company reputed company or reputed company financial analysis as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

·        Strong knowledge of GAAP, reputed company principles, and financial reporting.

·        Prior experience in Retail, Mail Order of Specialty Pharmacy, PBM, pharmaceutical or managed health care industry preferred.
