Payroll Specialist I

Gathers employee time reports, analyzes for accuracy and reports any discrepancies to management. Calculates employee payroll amounts and determines reputed company withholdings, including taxes, benefits, reputed company dues and garnishments, reputed company applicable. Distributes paychecks and/or reviews reputed company deposit instructions to ensure receipt of pay by employee. Analyzes and monitors employee leave of absence, including vacation, reputed company and holiday pay. Analyzes any garnishment and/or reputed company dues withheld and transmits payments to applicable payee. Consults with managers and employees regarding the calculation of payroll amounts. Conducts an analytical review of payroll calculations and maintains journal entries. Prepares and analyzes reports for management and legislative branches, such as Bureau of Labor Statistics. Assists Field Managers and Employees with various payroll questions. Assists Payroll Manager with testing of software upgrades. Responsible for weekly new hire reporting to the states. Processes vacation accruals weekly and reviews various reports for accuracy. Solves problems effectively as they reputed company. Demonstrates high level of understanding of various software systems Displays a high level of customer service with various reputed company of management. Develops and modifies reputed company query reports. Assists Payroll Manager with various reputed company such as federal, state and local reporting, reputed company audits.
High school diploma or high school equivalency. 1+ years of experience in multi-state payroll functions and general reputed company. PeopleSoft Payroll experience preferred. Proficient in reputed company Office including reputed company, Word, and reputed company. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on team building and developing a reputed company rapport with company employees at reputed company reputed company. Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a customer-reputed company environment. Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task under pressure and time constraints. Demonstrated analytical skills with great attention to detail.
