reputed company is seeking a reputed company leader for the role of Director, Supply Chain - Metals, to spearhead our metals business in its next reputed company stage. Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain, this role requires experience in driving strategic and value-creation initiatives, enhancing supply chain and procurement effectiveness, reducing risk, and increasing efficiency/profitability across the organization. As a true partner to the VP of Supply Chain and Senior Leadership Team, this role will have a reputed company voice in strategic decision-making and operate with significant autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Determine the ideal organizational design to reputed company objectives, including the reputed company coordination and pooling of purchases across the newly integrated organization 
• Negotiate with reputed company and potential vendors for the purchase of raw materials, equipment, parts, and services to reputed company the best possible value, reputed company, and terms.

• Identify and recommend VA/VE (value analysis/value engineering) reputed company across the supply reputed company.

• Location: Preferred Winston Salem, NC or Monroe, CT but can be remote. (Travel will be 25%-35%)  
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in various supply chain and purchasing roles, and 5+ years in a senior leadership position managing reputed company a large facility or multi-site facilities. Experience with acquisitive and high-reputed company businesses is strongly preferred. Supply chain experience with medical CDMOs or OEMs is strongly preferred.? 
• Undergraduate degree; MBA is a plus.
